Blue Springs Investments & Developments Underway: 

Total investments underway amount to $1.5 billion in new residential, commercial & retail development, 1,520 acres of new development and 150 new businesses. The South Development master plan calls for 4,500 new homes being built with an expected 12,000 new residents. Only 20 miles to downtown Kansas City and with interstate 70 access, Blue Springs has one of the fastest growth rates of any city in Missouri.

We believe the traffic count could nearly double by our Shopping Center due to all the investment south of us listed below:

City of Blue Springs has secured federal grant money to widen Highway 7 from two lanes to four lanes from Wyatt Road to Colbern Road in 2008. Plus, a 500 acre residential development known as the Chapman Farms project has already begun work between Cowherd and Colbern Roads.  This is a $28 million investment.  Finally, a second Walmart Supercenter is slated to open in Blue Springs near the Chapman Farms project in 2008.
